The time has finally come. As I begin to add items to my cart for the sale, it dawned on me how many times friends and family have asked “what do you use?”. Since I’m taking a minor hiatus from my professional career, I figured I might as well list what I’ll be breaking my piggy bank open for in the next few hours.

01. Dr. Dennis Gross – Alpha Beta Peel Vault
Original Price: $153, Rouge Sale Price: $122.40

Where to start… I’ve been using these peel pads for at least 6 years, if not longer. My skin is on the oily/combo side majority of the time, and these are a GAME CHANGER, especially in the winter months when I lean more into the dry side. I highly recommend these, and if it’s your first time using a chemical peel pad, get the small pack of 6 – no harm, no foul. My friends are now HOOKED on these as I’ve given them as stocking stuffers or as a treat for a girls weekend. I use the Universal Daily Peel in the months where the UV is stronger, and the Extra Strength in the colder months. Speaking of strong UV…

02. Supergoop – GlowScreen
Original Price: $48, Rouge Sale Price: $38.40

Some may argue that this is makeup, I will die on the hill that this is skincare! I LOVE this stuff. I use it everyday, no matter the season after I moisturize in the morning. I am *was* a light commuter and my sunroof, though it is/was closed, does do the job of letting the sun in. This stuff is amazing! No longer a leather bag on the beach kind of gal, I lean more on the light-medium neutral side so I use it in the shade Sunrise. Whether we’re just outside taking the dogs for a walk or on the boat for the day, this stuff is a staple – period. I’ll be snagging the value size this year, a whopping 2.5 oz for only a few bucks more than the standard 1.7oz. This will likely last until the Spring Sale, god willing as a small pea sized amount is plenty for face and decollatage.

03. Farmacy – Honey Halo Moisturizer
Original Price: $48, Rouge Sale Price: $38.40

My name is Lauren and I’m a consumer. Can you buy moisturizer at CVS? Yes – I’m even a fan of the Trader Joe’s one for a few bucks. But I see myself as aiding the economy and keeping it moving. With that, maybe it’s a mix of my standard hylauronic acid and Vitamin C serum in the morning, followed by this, but it’s GOOD! I find myself scraping the jar for every last bit of it whenever I have it in my possession. There is a slight scent, but it’s nice! My skin stays evenly hydrated, which is a bonus as a combo skin gal and it doesn’t break me out! No more notes, into the cart it goes.

Skincare I’ll be skipping and why…

01. Iconic London – Prep-Set-Glow Hydrating Glowy Setting Spray
Original Price: $32, Rouge Sale Price: $25.80

This product is always in my rotation. I always restock during the Sephora Sale and this time is no different. The spray is nice and even and it’s illuminating without being ✨glittery✨. I do only use it when I have a powder on, but it makes all the difference. Makes my skin look fresh and plump without looking overly done.

02. Saie – Glossybounce™ High-Shine Hydrating Lip Gloss Oil in “Kiss”
Original Price: $22, Rouge Sale Price: $17.60

I am a tried and true Saie customer. I adore their Glowy Super Gel Lightweight Dewy Multipurpose Illuminator in Warm Glow, their liquid blush, and am a HUGE fan of their liquid bronzer/contour. This one will be a first time lip gloss purchase of theirs, but the reviews have been fabulous. If you are familiar with Sophie on Tik Tok, I’m giving her all the credit as she has paired this lip gloss with the Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Iconic Nude and it is the most gorgeous combo I’ve seen!

03. Hourglass – Vanish Airbrush Concealer in Shade 3.8 “Drift”
Original Price: $38, Rouge Sale Price: $30.40

This stuff deserves ALL the hype. It stays and it covers! As a former foundation girl, and now a concealer and powder type, this is worth every penny. I love the applicator and the consistency is so light but again, that coverage! I would definitely recommend checking these out in person for the proper shade as I find Hourglass products to have a nice variety of shades, but with that, there’s room for error online since there’s room for overlap.

01. Oribe – Hair Alchemy Strengthening Treatment Serum
Original Price: $66, Rouge Sale Price: $52.80

I’ll be the first to admit that I’m a sucker for a hair serum/leave in treatment. With that being said, this stuff makes your hair feel like you just had a decent, healthy cut. Granted, I do think they need to improve the packaging, that’s another story… my hairstylist has me hooked on it. It does not weigh your hair down at all and makes it super manageable and ready for heat styling, or perfect if doing an airdry or slickback in the summer. Definitely a must buy during the sale.

02. Living Proof – Perfect hair Day (PhD) Advanced Clean Dry Shampoo
Original Price: $33, Rouge Sale Price: $26.40

Say it with me – if I can get away with not washing my hair for an extra day, it’s for me. Having thick hair, I need to put extra work in when blow drying my mop. I tend to wash my hair at night, HOPE to blowdry it and style in the morning. But, alas, things happen. On more than one occasion, I’ve got to bed with a little serum, a damp head, and a silk scrunchie. I’ll then blow dry my slightly damp hair in the morning and throw a little bit of this in to get some grit. Lasts all day, and doesn’t leave too terrible of a whitecast on my brunette tresses.

03. Slip – Small Silk Hair Scrunchies 6 Pack
Original Price: $49, Rouge Sale Price: $39.20

Say it with me – “it’s ok to wear your hair up when sleeping”. With that being said, I ONLY use a silk scrunchie for bed. Whether it’s these or an oversized one, it’s a must. I do love keeping these in my car and handbag along with my other go-to hairtie (those I prefer for physical activities). These are just divine and a great gift for friends. It’s a little bit of luxury but practical at the same time.

So tell me, what are some products you’re adding to your cart this year?
